WorkplaceDisputes.uk — Support for Employees

For employees. Not employers.

How we help

We support employees at the stage their dispute has reached — whether it is still being dealt with inside the workplace, or has moved beyond it.

Internal

Your workplace problem is still being dealt with inside your organisation.

Internal Workplace Support

Practical support while the dispute is still being handled through your employer's own process.

External

Your dispute has moved beyond the internal process into ACAS Early Conciliation, negotiation, settlement discussions or Employment Tribunal proceedings.

External Representation

Support and representation once the dispute has moved outside your workplace.

Internal

Internal Workplace Support

Your workplace problem is still being dealt with inside your organisation.

Support at this stage is practical: understanding what is happening, responding carefully and working towards a resolution where one is possible.

Situations this often covers

  • Grievances
  • Disciplinary processes
  • Workplace investigations
  • Performance management / PIPs
  • Bullying and harassment
  • Discrimination
  • Disability and reasonable adjustments
  • Workplace conflict
  • Changes to your role or working arrangements
  • Redundancy processes

What this can include

  • Reviewing documents and correspondence
  • Understanding what is happening
  • Developing strategy
  • Drafting or reviewing correspondence
  • Preparing grievances or responses
  • Preparing for meetings
  • Supporting you through the internal process
  • Organising relevant information and evidence
  • Considering opportunities for resolution

External

External Representation

Your dispute has moved beyond the internal process into ACAS Early Conciliation, negotiation, settlement discussions or Employment Tribunal proceedings.

Not every external dispute ends at a Tribunal hearing. Many are resolved through ACAS conciliation, negotiation or settlement, and an appropriate resolution remains the aim throughout.

Situations this often covers

  • Dismissal or constructive dismissal
  • Unresolved grievances or discrimination
  • Settlement agreement offers
  • ACAS Early Conciliation
  • Employment Tribunal claims

What this can include

  • Understanding the claims and issues
  • ACAS Early Conciliation
  • Negotiation
  • Settlement strategy
  • Reviewing documentation
  • Case preparation
  • Organising evidence
  • Preparing chronologies
  • Reviewing your employer's response
  • Preparing your case
  • Tribunal preparation
  • Representation where appropriate

The workplace dispute journey

Most workplace problems never reach a Tribunal

A dispute can develop in stages. The objective is to support you at the stage yours has reached and work towards an appropriate resolution.

Why early support matters

What happens internally can shape what happens later

The allegations made, the responses given, the documents created, the correspondence exchanged, the evidence retained, the chronology established and the positions recorded during an internal process may all become important later — if the dispute progresses to ACAS, settlement negotiations or an Employment Tribunal.

Early support is therefore not simply about getting through one meeting or replying to one letter. It helps you approach the dispute strategically, document what is happening and protect your position should matters escalate.
